This is a “Sarah-lite” story, if you will. And that worked all the more to its benefit, making her appearance all the more impactful. Clyde takes the forefront in this episode, giving a well-deserved insight into his emotions and circumstances beyond fighting aliens. His relationship with his father is handled very well, a better version of Ryan’s storyline in Resolution. Overall, it was refreshing to see Clyde be so emotionally transparent.
