A perfectly middling episode. The highlight is Martha and her family, and subsequently how the Doctor interacts with them. I’m not big on Mark Gatiss’ acting, so him as Lazarus wasn’t all that compelling. His mutated form is indubitably a CGI monstrosity, but I didn’t find myself too bothered by it. Not the most memorable of stories overall.
