Another brilliant outing. This is a very ridiculous story but there's a lot to love. The 7/Ace dynamic is continuing to be utter brilliance and I love the idea of them rocking up to a dictatorship and deciding to overthrow it. Not getting captured and accidentally roped into some pre-existing revolution but actively sparking it. McCoy continues to be a Doctor unlike any other. He's dark, he's scheming, he's silly and brilliant all round.

The idea of a dystopia where everyone's "happy" is really interesting. All the "happiness" is a bit like a coat of paint hiding the depressed, dysfunctional society underneath. The Kandyman is absurd but still makes for rather a good villain in my opinion. It's banter with Gilbert M was really quite funny aswell. I'm not sure what the plot with the Stigorax did for the story though.

Overall, good stuff. Although I'm aware that there were some strong political allegories to Thatcher in this one that mostly flew over my head (I was still able to piece together most of what was referenced).
