Felizmente fui surpreendido e agora posso dizer com a maior firmeza do mundo que pra mim, Vogan não é mais um planeta boring e desinteressante, isso devido ao todo cuidado que Tim Foley teve em sua escrita. Propositalmente sua primeira parte tem a importante tarefa de deixar seu ouvinte atualizado e totalmente imerso a atual situação da Cyber-War e principalmente de Voga, com isso seu enredo caminha de forma cautelosa com uma progressão narrativa bem cadenciada além de apresentar e desenvolver todos os seus personagens, sempre se atentando aos detalhes. A Audacity tem um comportamento diferente do que vimos em sua história de estreia, menos explosiva, menos rude, mais calma e com um requinte de uma formalidade elegante tanto em seu comportamento como em seu vocabulário. É certo que em alguns poucos momentos ela é posicionada na história com aquele modo “padrão” de companion, aquelas típicas coisas de conhecer algo novo, ficar em apuros, fazer perguntas ao Doutor e etc. Mas ainda sim mantém uma certa originalidade, fugindo várias vezes do clichê – Interessante notar a sua reação, muita das vezes em êxtase e maravilhada quando se depara com alguma vista do espaço ou das estrelas, o que podemos considerar algo não tão comum recentemente em Doctor Who, na maioria das vezes as reações são de tão frias e de pouco impacto, mas no caso da Audacity é dado todo devido o cuidado e destaque. Mesmo na maior parte do tempo distante dos personagens principais, Tim Foley captou toda aquela essência dos Cybermans transmitindo a imagem de criaturas estrategistas, terríveis, difícil não se temer diante deles, algo visto nas grandes e icônicas histórias Cybermans do Classic Who. Na segunda parte o enredo gradualmente vai ficando cada vez mais melhor, chegando até mesmo ser um suspense meticuloso – E o melhor está no fim, O ÁPICE! E QUE ÁPICE MEUS AMIGOS! O 8° Doutor considerado quase um sinônimo de cautela, se vê em uma situação em meio a um dilema bem delicado, dependendo de sua escolha o Senhor do Tempo poderá carregar uma dolorosa culpa pro resto de sua vida. A forma como Tim Foley constrói e conduz toda a cena, é algo sufocante ainda mais unido a uma trilha sonora sinistra deixando seu ouvinte altamente apreensivo a cada segundo querendo saber o desfecho final disso tudo, sensacional. E para premiar essa excelente história, um pouco antes do tema de encerramento somos surpreendidos com uma surpresa muito agradável (DICA: Evite os Spoilers para não estragar a surpresa).
