This is pretty excellent. Interesting premise, good characters and a nice and colourful background for most scenes. Last story I complained that the play seemed so isolated from the locations, which is not the case here, I am glad to say.

During the listening of this play I noticed a few common things about Paternoster Gang stories, which is mostly because this play subverts them excellently. It starts typically, only for the arc to say hello.

I won't say much more, due to spoilers, but I will say that as a part one, the overall quality of this and the next story depends on each other. As such, this story is only good if Vastra finally learns to not keep Jenny and Strax out of the loop. I have high hopes, however.
