There are some great moments of manipulation in this from the War Master, as expected. The story however, drags on and while there are reveals scattered throughout it just didn't entirely land for me. The side characters generally weren't overly interesting, and I wasn't invested in any of them really. Not a strong start to this set I'm afraid.
