Absolutely fantastic story, expanding the tardis team and offering another absolutely brilliant pseudo-historical to 5's repertoire. The Egyptian politics are interesting, the sci-fi additions are used really well, and we get the first instance of Big Finish having a doctor-lite episode with Part 2. While I understand the complaints with Five and Peri "weakening the sacrafice of Caves of Androzani", I think we'd be depriving ourselves of an incredible dynamic without the two together - and the sacrafice becomes reframed within the friendship they now have, while still being appreciated through the lens of TV canon.

All that is to say - this is a must listen.
