Review of The Doctor’s Daughter by InterstellarCas

This review contains spoilers!

A bit of a predictable adventure sandwiched between some of the bigger stories but fun nonetheless. Jenny is a character riddled with potential that only gets partially realized, with some half-baked interrogation on what a soldier is and her overall relationship to the Doctor. Additionally, the Doctor is a bit uncharacteristically flippant which works at first before it drags on far too long, insisting she’s none of his concern. More positively, Donna continues to display her intelligence is such creative ways and I really enjoy it, how in ways she matches up to the Doctor, noticing the numbers when the Doctor doesn’t and coming to correct conclusion. I also adore the Hath design, just great fish people. Martha, however, gets utterly wasted here which is such a shame because her chemistry with Donna is wonderful and it truly could’ve sparked some great moments if it was more prevalent.
