We see a lot more of Liz in this one than in the first. She's really given proper time to shine. And finally people call her Dr Shaw!
I especially liked her scenes with Patsy. For reasons. No I'm not giggling and kicking my feet what are you talking about. Ok but seriously I love their dynamic and I think it adds a lot to Liz's character.
The plot here made loads more sense than in The Zero Imperative, though again I didn't quite get the ending.
The audio seemed quite a bit better. And the visuals improved as well, I think? I'm not the kind of person who notices those things.
The acting was very good here. Caroline John and Louise Jameson were amazing as always, and we have a strong performance from Peter Davison.
It's definitely a bit grisly — especially at the start, I can't say the disabled character was handled particularly well, and I'm not entirely sure I like the implications of Christian being queer. What with the murders.
Definitely my favorite BBV film as yet.
