This is part of a series where you can follow me on my journey across time and space (more commonly known as Big Finish Productions)

My favourite villain is introduced in this story (John Heffernan’s Nine). The Crucible of Souls may be a very confusing place and plot point but when you listen a couple times you’ll get it a bit better.
This story is the finale to Doom Coalition 3 and features the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann), River Song (Alex Kingston), Liv Chenka (Nicola Walker) and Helen Sinclair (Hattie Morahan) going up against Padrac (Robert Bathurst) and The Nine (John Heffernan). The Doctor is also in disguise as the deceased member of the Doom Coalition, the Clocksmith, and The Nine is pretending to be the Doctor for the whole of this adventure
All in all, Doom Coalition is one of the best boxsets I’ve listened to and it’s up there with Missy Series One and Ravenous 3.
The Crucible Of Souls - (9/10)
