Huge fan!

I think that, especially as an historian, seeing the little (and not so little) nods to historical facts is always a treat! These really helped in setting the scene of this industrialised London with all its new ideas and ideals. It sort of makes it all feel a bit more down to earth, although we are dealing with aliens and futuristic tech.

Another thing is the sound design, although, as always, I have some minor complaints, was exemplary! I mean, nothing quite beats Live 34, but this was certainly very enjoyable!

I very much appreciated Strax being given a bit more personality than just being comedic relief whilst still filling that role perfectly. Dan Starky is a marvellous voice actor (as is the rest of the cast).
