Previous Story: Judoon in Chains

This was really solid, certainly much better than The Shakespeare Code. The Carrionites are actually really interesting as a villain, so it makes sense why they were picked for this story. They also work quite well with the 6th Doctor's naturally verbose vocabulary (it's funny that this is the second story I've listened to were Sixie's tendency to use long and complex words has been used against the villain).

There's a really nice atmosphere here, with a small village in the countryside. The cast are really strong, with companion-that-never-was Katy and the usual village people in the form of a Vicar and a village councillor. I enjoyed that the witches kept coming back even when they seemed defeated, it really added to the stakes.

The little reference to Litefoot was fun and the ending was quite bittersweet. I do like how they're exploring 6's fear of becoming the Valeyard quite a bit aswell. Overall, really solid story and Classic Doctors, New Monsters continues to be on a good-streak.
