Good news: It doesn't feel unnecessary, or like a retread of The Ark in Space. This story definitely deserves to exist, so we can see how this story was originally planned out.

Bad news: It is VERY bland. The adaptation of this script to an audio drama is pretty bad. The audio mixing is occasionally bizarre. Bad.
