The Angels Take Manhattan

This story was good. I loved having another angel story that was really good because we haven't had one since Blink. Having River back was a blast and I'm so happy she returned. I loved the whole thing with if you read it in a book it must happen because that is just so cool. We haven't seen Manhattan since series 3 and that was with the Daleks it's such a nice location for doctor who tbh. I wasn't too keen on the Statue of Liberty being a weeping angel though I thought that was a bit far fetched. I always really don't know why the angels chose Manhattan as their farming ground since it's the busy city in the world and they would barely be able to move but sure it's doctor who let's just accept it I guess. Now let's talk about the big thing that happens. Amy & Rory's departure. I think for me I don't really feel sad or anything for this because I don't really like the ponds and my fave companion is right after them so I just kinda want them gone. It's a good exit for them though. The speech at the end was beautiful and recapped stuff that has happened to Amy over the last 2 series and a bit. Having it end on young Amelia was such a good choice and I love that. Overall a really good story and exit for the ponds. 9/10
