The first half shows people getting freaked out and scared of technology, and honestly it got very annoying to listen to after a while

The second half is really cool though once they kinda figure out what's going on and the Doctor confronts the aliens.

The "technophobia" is actually pretty neat as a weapon, even though it's basically the plot of a futurama episode
