This story does something very odd for Doctor Who. It has a big blazing gun battle in space between one of our protagonists (Turlough) and the antagonist (Sontaron grunt). It’s a pleasure to see the show in this slightly strange mode, especially as it’s offset elsewhere in the story with comedy robots. I think this is a little bit of a gem.
