This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order.
Previous Story: Starfall
The Nest Cottage Chronicles are really strange, but in a good way. This is no exception to that. I think this might even be my favourite yet. There are plenty of twists and turns throughout this story. Most notably, the Hornets are back. I think the Hornets are one of the most fascinating and unique Doctor Who villains in general, you never know what to expect with them. I certainly didn't expect Mrs Wibbsey to have been possessed this whole time, that really recontextualises the last few parts for me.
Once again I have to mention the magnificent cover art for this story. All of Demon Quest has had great cover art but this one is especially good. The little cliffhanger at the end feels a bit tacked on but that is really my only gripe with the story and it's not even a big one.
