Review of Salvation Nine by Seagullslost

An enjoyable story.

A colony of Sontarans who have forgotton what Sontarans are and what they do. But they are also under threat, should they be, and can the Doctor save them?

Its not exactly as epic as a tv story might be, but Its always nice to hear the Ninth Doctor. Its also a more spacy sci fi piece than an historcal, which at least for me, is a plus. Although not cutting edge scifi leaning more towards comedy.

Josie Lawrence - I've always loved her, plays (bit of a spoiler) a female sontaran and one thing this episode does is to explore the Sontaran background a little, as in what happens to them if they actually live rather than die in battle.

So it is one of those stories where the Doctor is effectly trying to save the enemy. Not the most memorable, but enjoyable.

A nice audio.
