For an episode I liked but that’s about it, I didn’t expect to love the novelisation even more than 73 Yards. It’s mostly the same story, but it really dives into Rogue’s character, giving him his own prologue, showing more of his life with his former partner, how he lives with his grief. The title is apt because it really is more Rogue’s story. It does have some of the same core issues like Rogue and the Doctor being in love after only a couple hours but it was still a very enjoyable read that helped breath a little extra life into a fairly solid episode. It achieves exactly what the Target Novels should set out for.
