A lovely insight into The Doctor's mental state post-Season 4, the way Gabby talks about The TARDIS and how you can tell what mood she's in is also just lovely (and I always love the art style of the sketchbook pages). The aliens have a pretty fun design, and for a place that only appears once in all of Doctor Who media, The Key has a ***really*** nice logo.
The highlight is absolutely The Doctor visiting his past companions though. Saving Martha from a robot while she's working at UNIT, the fear on Ten's face when he hears Donna's voice (and you just can't help but read her lines in it too), and then just the grief, falling to the floor as he visits the Powell Estate. It's just lovely.
I'm not the biggest fan of the main art style this issue, but while it doesn't work as well for Ten and Gabby, it does wonders for the aliens and Crossland, the panels of Crossland standing in the Doorway with the monster behind him especially
