Turgid. .Among the most awful Who stories I think I've ever heard. Genuinely, I more or less stopped listening to Who for few months because it irritated me so much – a shame given Goss' follow-up turned out to be the highlight of Once and Future.

The decision to set this immediately after the Hand of Fear for Sarah ranks as one of the most bizarre choices I think any Who writer has ever made.
