Review of P.S. by DanDunn

It's crazy to think this might just be Chris Chibnall's best bit of writing for Doctor Who, written as a way of giving Brian Williams (a character he created) some closure following the ending of The Angels Take Manhattan and I'm glad he did it. For all of Modern Who's boasting about being more dramatic, it tends to ignore some of the wider impacts on other characters outside of its leads. Let's not forget there was a whole subplot about Amy's parents vanishing and after Series 5 they may as well have stayed vanished. A companion's family reacting to losing their loved one forever should be a big deal and warrant some kind of attention, so I'm glad Chibnall pushed for this to be made. It's a very nice emotional sendoff for the character as well as closing the book on Rory who just gets kind of forgotten about in the actual episode once he disappears.
