Previous Story: Lords of the Red Planet
I use solid to describe pretty much every good to great story I go through (bad habit really) but this might be a perfect example of a "solid" story. It's nothing groundbreaking or experimental, in fact it's quite simple, but it's that idea of a simple concept executed perfectly that makes this story so solid.
I suppose it helps that it's authentic to the era (although I've yet to do a lost story which wasn't). Michael Troughton continues to prove himself as a worthy successor to his father. He's not pitch-perfect but he's more than good enough and continues to be one of the best recasts Big Finish has done. Having Frazer Hines and Wendy Padbury in proper full-cast stories set in their actual era is an absolute joy aswell.
I was hoping for something a bit more supernatural with a name like Operation Werewolf but there's not much to be done about that when adapting a pre-existing story outline. Good stuff all round.
