There are some great concepts in this, and I was really excited by both the writer and the villains. However, it didn't really work for me. I can't quite put my finger on it, but despite the interesting new way of using the Vashta Nerada, and the inclusion of the Forge (which wasn't really necessary) it fell a little flat. I think partly it could be that I am just not interested in either companion in this team. That said, I did like that we got a tiny bit of a character beat with Naomi, I feel she's been really underdeveloped across the 4DA's and 7DA's which is a real shame. I'm hoping they give her more chance to shine in the next story, and final set.
