So this one is an interesting Beast, just recently did I left my Review on the second Episode of the Stranger and well this is basically this with some minor Changes.
Unlike the Stranger Version, you get a TARDIS Team with the Nth Doctor & Co. On top of that, you also get some more fleshed out Scenes in the TARDIS itself both at the Start, as well the End, which is of course was not possible with the Stranger.
Outside that, this Story very faithful follows the Story beat of the Stranger Episode, down to Dialogue being the exact same. A bit weird of me to compare it so much to its Adaption, that came so much later, but since I saw that version first, it's the first version that comes to mind. I will say, like the Stranger Episode, I found this to be quite an underrated one. The Story is very much the same Thing with an Entity, which is basically said Planet falling for the Doctor. It worked in the Stranger and it works here. I will say big Praise to Briggs, while he isn't as good as Baker, for being somewhat inexperienced when this came out, he delivers quite a solid Performance, in particular at the End. The same can be said about the entire cast, all of them deliver well.
I have definitely a Preference towards the BBV Production funnily enough, I think some Scenes really benefit from the Fact that it has Visuals and in general the Story works to me a bit better with Visuals overall. There were also some Performances which I found overall better, like the Person who voices Bunny here does a fine Job, but if you cast the same Actor behind Nyder for the later Adaption, then well it's no surprise which I end up liking more.
Overall, still an excellent Story, that really deserves more love in my Eyes.
