New Who Review #135

Knock Knock

This story was so good. I always love Haunted House story's and this is no exception. The whole atmosphere is spooky and a little tense. The floorboards creek on there own and there is a mysterious noise upstairs, everything is out of date and old and there is a Forbidden secret hidden in the tower that no one can go in. It has everything to make the perfect story and it does so exceedingly. The doctor making friends with some normal humans Is fun and gives some laughs. The Dryads are a cool enemy and I'd like to see them again one day. The reveal that the Landlord is the son of the woman in the tower never really clicked for me. I'd have rather he had been a Singular villain doing this for fun or something. The music coming out of Pavel's room is actually creepy. Overall a really good Haunted house story that is perfect for a Halloween night. 10/10
