This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order.
Previous Story: The Ratings War
This one is an odd one, if it weren't for the last 20 or so minutes it would be quite dull and forgettable. The return of Peri in this almost felt as clumsy as the way she was written out of the show in the first place. The twist reveal, that the Doctor was imagining all of this was definitely quite shocking and made up for the overall weird vibe of the story. Colin Baker's performance when the Doctor thought that Peri had just died on him again was fantastic but other than that I can't really forgive this story for wasting 40 minutes of my time no matter how good the last 20 were.
