Review of Glory to the Reborn King by deltaandthebannermen

Another fairly standard Benny adventure, this time set around an archaeological dig. Benny, unusually, is up on a space platform supervising various digging teams on the planet's surface.

The Christmassy elements are few and far between - there is the usual 'Christmas-like but from another culture' festival; lots of snow- which bizarrely turns out to be bone; and the punny title referencing the 'new born' king.

The conclusion of another god-like alien from another dimension is a bit cliched, but I rather liked the idea of it being awoken by machinery that is unearthed by the archaeologists which automatically sends a signal and is then shut down by preprogramming. It puts Benny on the backfoot and makes for some good detective work in the middle part especially as she comes to suspect her colleague as being in league with the powers behind it.

Unremarkable but pleasant enough.
