Lots of ideas but little clarity of thought, leading to muddled storytelling. It is a big rush of energy but with no focus.

I found Polly to be written in a sexist way. It’s that 20th Century thing of writing the only woman in the story in a sexist way, then having her say “chauvinist pig!” as if that covers all manner of sins.
