This story is utterly brutal, and gutted me. Did I read it years ago in high-school? Yes. Did I stay up because the riveting story until 4am only to have to sleep with the light on? Absolutely. An absolute necessity for fans of horror. Some Doctor Who stories are terrifying with a happy end. When I say there’s no hope in sight. It is meant fully. If you’re in the mood for a dark genuinely great read this is the book for you!
