the first time i watched this it left a very sour taste, but this is the first time rewatching this and its actually not as bad as i thought.

the sutekh stuff could’ve been so much better, mel was poorly underused, ruby’s mother reveal was still a let down but her leaving the tardis was beautifully done. the memory tardis stuff is probably the best of the episode, and the mrs. flood roof scene is just a bit irksome.

the legend of ruby sunday, 73 yards and boom live on as the best 3 episodes of this season. rogue coming shortly behind at 4th.
