This is a story that will only grow in its estimation over time in my mind. I'm so stupid that I was locked up in the sci-fi and it took me a bit to put the pieces together at the ending. It definitely made me reflect on how white so many stories are, especially ones supposedly in the far future. As well, addressing 'how will things be different for a Black doctor' going with a future story rather than a past one was genius for RTD. Hanging out with Lindy is still quite draining though, but an all-time ending.
