Fairly baffling. Registers to me like it's kinda Part One of a Two Parter. It's almost all set-up, and by the time we get fully what's going on, it straight up ends, and almost certainly is never getting a follow-up ever. It genuinely feels like half a story, not an ambiguous ending. It's consistently a good time, but genuinely incomplete in a way that's to it's detriment.
