Overall this novelisation plays things pretty safe and doesn’t do much to expand upon the episode it’s adapting. Despite accurately conveying the eerie atmosphere of the ship the novelisation doesn't capitalise on the body horror of the episode enough leaving it underwhelming in some parts.
