The Daleks novelisation!... mostly

It's interesting the differences between this and An Unearthly Child/The Daleks. Clearly, the book is written with the perspective that the audience doesn't necessarily know these characters, so builds their introduction from the ground up, in a way entirely alien (ha!) to anyone who's watched the show. It's an interesting character choice, making Ian and Barbara not know each other, and I think I prefer their dynamic in the show. The first-person perspective was fun though, and allowed much more time with the Thals
