Previous Story: The Flying Dutchman
Bit of an odd one. It reminds me of Ghost Light a little as I'm not entirely sure what happened in it (although it's nothing quite as incomprehensible as Ghost Light was). Solid mystery and atmosphere but I think it's a bit too short for anything substantial to happen. At most we get some nice development between Ace and Hex.
I also like the recurring theme in these stories of the Doctor neglecting to mention some crucial detail and the companions being mad about it. One thing I find weird is this story was both set and written in (or around) 2020. Hex is canonicall from 2021 and yet he refers to "his time" as if it's far away in this one when it should really only be one year.
