Volume 5 for the New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield concludes with a great little ghost story, for a set written entirely by new writers, they did quite a commendable job. Burrowed Time sees Benny excavate a site buried over a long lost train that has become haunted and full of ghosts. It has a great mystery surrounding one of its occupants who keeps showing up at different ages and isn't as ghostly as the other lost passengers. It builds to a very well done reveal and tragic end to the story. This goes for all their audios together but Lisa Bowerman and David Warner are fantastic together, having recently learned they were partners right up until Warner's death does show their work together in new context. You can tell that their love for each other really bleeds into their performances
