The problem with Bloodtide is it's just so...boring. It doesn't do anything new with the Silurians, and feels like retreading things that have already been done plenty. 6 and Evelyn continue to be a delightful pairing, but it's unfortunate their first few stories are pretty big whiffs. Not necessarily terrible, but one that's hard to keep paying attention to.
