Previous Story: Devil in the Mist
I like this one a lot more. More focus on Kamelion and his powers and this time an excellent tale of grief. I like how relatively small-scale this is. There's no planet to rescue, the Doctor and Co arrive after a mine explosion and try to bring aid to the survivors and Kamelion gets lost along the way. That's it, such a simple plot and yet so refreshingly unique.
Jon Culshaw is really showing off as Kamelion and I think it's fitting that they've got the vocal chameleon himself to play Kamelion. The rest of the cast are alright, Turlough gets to be a bit of a hero, Tegan is upset that nobody expects her to be a medical professional and the Doctor is just sort of there.
Overall, it's a really solid script and a much more interesting exploration of Kamelion than the last story. I'm curious to see where this character goes as he is a strange one.
