The usually exemplary Matt Smith unfortunately gives a weak sauce performance in this one, ending the episode literally waving his arms about and yelling "Doctor Who!". Some extremely fun Dalek nonsense lifts this episode up (parliament! prime minister! intensive care! EGGSEGGSEGGSEGGSEGGS), but not enough to make it past poor characterisation and rubbish pacing.
