This is perhaps one of the most forgettable episodes in NuWho for me. Chibnall has some promising bits in the writing, most especially with Martha and her relationship to her mother, but a lot of it didn’t quite stick. It’s a perfectly watchable episode but it is ultimately seems a little derivative of other sci-fi stories.
