Tlotoxl was the fanatical high priest of sacrifice encountered by Barbara when she posed as a reincarnation of the Aztec high priest Yetaxa. Convinced that she was a fraud, Tlotoxl sought to prove her lack of divinity. He was also instrumental in preserving his culture’s practice of human sacrifice to ensure the rains would come.
