Review of Emancipation by Owen
The themes being discussed are great. Subtext maybe a little too on the nose, but why not, it’s not like this set is subtle anyways. Surprisingly bleak and grim ending, which was honestly quite superb. I feel like the more I think about what the story has to say and makes you consider, the better it gets. If only it wasn’t also terribly boring.
